About

Hi, i'm
Carolyn.

– Fun facts: I like to visit museums, collect antiques, and make art. I do research on the side about the design of tech at the intersection of social justice.

I'm a multi-disciplinary product designer at IBM with 5+ years of industry experience.

Early in my career as a data scientist at IBM, I recognized gaps between technical solutions and user needs. This insight sparked my shift toward UX and product design. Today, I work as a multi-disciplinary designer, crafting data and AI-based experiences that streamline existing workflows — earning the trust of users and building client relationships.

I went on to complete a Master of Information at the University of Toronto, building on a Math & Statistics degree from McMaster University. I have an upcoming publication for the CSCW conference 2025.

Here's a breakdown of my work experience...
